Often we try to overcome a response to a situation by thinking it through in a logical manner and consciously make plans of what we will do if we feel a certain response, often it is an exit strategy for avoiding the situation. The truth is we cannot do this in a logical way as it is a subconscious response. The most important thing is for the person to be able to 'change state' When thinking of something that causes us anxiety we fire off all the physiological responses that those thoughts create.
The purpose of the audios is to assist the individual towards becoming more relaxed and disassociate themselves from the trigger and then allow the mind to wander and find other more empowering ways to behave in similar situations.
