I have only had one session with Karen, but the experience was such a positive one that it has already helped me to deal with some of my issues of negativity. I have since applied to a Postgraduate Course we discussed during my session, and feel much more certain and confident about my future. Thank you Karen

Wedding Nerves/Stress - I had a great day and our session a couple of days before was a real boost. On the morning of the wedding I felt completely calm and relaxed throughout the whole day – able to cope with others who were very emotional and rise above it all.

Coaching for Individuals
A coaching service is available for those who feel they require more support after a course, or wish to work towards achieving more in their lives.
At times we all need to consider our options. Whether it is at the end of a period of study as a student considering the next steps, looking to change direction in our career and not sure where or what to do, returning to work after a career break or considering setting up a business. It may be a change of role at work, looking to create a better work life balance.
It is about closing the gap between where you are and where you want to be. It provides a confidential, focused time, without everyone giving their advice for you to take the time to clarify your goals and take the next steps to achieving those goals.
Taking time for oneself is often bottom of the list. You end up trying to think things through logically and pragmatically and end up more confused. One thing to remember is confusion comes before understanding and is part of the learning process.
Coaching is an effective way in which to help sort the confusion, alter the negativity in thinking which hinders progress and begin to magnify the positive aspects. This allows the individual to begin to see the opportunities and achieve their potential.
The process allows the client to
- Make real and lasting change by exploring their thought processes.
- Use skilled questioning strategies to help the client work through solutions to challenges
- Develop clear goals and identify methods of assessing progress.
- Create an environment which is supportive and non-judgemental of the clients, views, lifestyle or aspirations
- Develop the clients skills in order that they avoid becoming dependent on the coach by providing strategies to cope in a variety of situations that may arise.
- Ensure the level of service provides a suitable length of programme to meet the requirements of every individual
