I am a trained and accredited practitioner of the Potent 6 Constellation. The P6 Constellation helps us to NOTICE what is going on within and around us and, in the process, EQUIPS us to initiate, access and navigate crucial changes in our personal lives, families, friendships, communities and organisations.
I am a founding practitioner of the P6 Constellation community in practice. We use the P6 Constellation (developed by Louie Gardiner) to support change in individuals and groups across generations, cultures, professional roles and contexts. We bear witness to profound transformational shifts in executives, professionals, groups, parents and children alike; and delight in passing on the ability to these people to do this for themselves. We know from our own personal experience that with support and practise, this framework will develop in you, an increasing ability to take coherent, timely, wise action amidst the complexities and challenges of life.My aim in my coaching practice is to build capacity within individuals and in communities. Having spent over 25 years working in education this is why so much of my work is about supporting change in the lives of families. This is family in its widest context: Parents, young people and professionals working with families.

Helping Children to succeed

Helping children to succeed cannot be left to pure chance. Like every other aspect of performance in life, it requires a model set of skills which can be applied in a variety of circumstances.
This is for professionals working with children and young people: teachers, nursery staff, social workers, support staff, foster carers, health professionals, and voluntary sector staff - all who want to enrich their current skill set. Assessing Neuro-motor Readiness for learning - 1 day or CPD modules

A significant number of children in mainstream school suffer from neuro-motor immaturity. They are found to have immature motor skills and postural instability. Such neuro-motor immaturity is often rooted in the presence of a cluster of primitive reflexes. Research shows there is a direct correlation between immature motor skills and educational achievement. With training, teachers and other professionals can be trained to screen for signs of such delay, so that appropriate referrals can be made or physical intervention programmes introduced. The manual giving all the tools and guidance needed to identify children with such immaturity, implement a physical programme if appropriate and evaluate outcomes.

Johansen School Auditory Stimulation school based programme CPD - 2hrs

JIAS addresses underlying auditory processing which helps noticing, discrimination and organisation of sound detail. This is delivery through music which is specifically designed to gently change and organise auditory processing by stimulating the nerve pathways into and within the brain - in particular the areas dealing with language.
The school can select the group they wish to target.
Children having difficulty; settling into Nursery /P1, Speech and language difficulties, a history of pre-school ear infections or hearing problems, poor social skills.
